Finland Afro Diaspora Awards (FADA) & Face of African Queen
Finland Afro Diaspora Awards (FADA) was established to reward and celebrate exceptional performance and outstanding achievements of black people in Finland.
The minority hardworking Africans in Finland have not had so much recognition like the rest of the other communities in the Nordic nation. This is the reason why we have decided to come up with an annual event that will be recognizing all Africans in Finland vis-à-vis what they do and how they are Influencing others.
The goal of the awards is to integrate and also maintain the African culture in the society we live in, bridging the gap through appreciating the most hardworking Africans in Finland.
In this maiden edition, there are 10 categories of hardworking Africans in Finland that we would like to recognize.
We would like to inform the general public that the award is mainly about inspiring Africans to work hard, achieve their dreams as well as get more involved in societal activities. It is not about challengers/competitors but rather that person that inspires many at their different levels and in different criteria.
The Face of African Queen is a beauty pageant contest aimed at showcasing the enviable African beauty in Finland. The winner of the beauty contest will go home with an all-expenses-paid trip to Malta including hotel accommodations for 7 days and loads of beauty care products and also the front cover of Diaspora Glitz Magazine.
The event is powered by Diaspora Reporters ry in partnership with others.
